I came across this amazing picture in Elle Decor (India) Jun-July issue. It is of the courtyard at The Leela Kempinski hotel on the banks of Lake Pichola in Udaipur, Rajasthan. I bookmarked it for a future holiday. I am not subscribed to the print Indian edition of Elle Decor since I don't live there (and the shipping charges may be horrific) but I always pick up a copy when I visit India. I can't wait for the time when they will have a complete online edition that I can browse through (maybe on Zinio?) because they are full of great ideas. Until then, browse snippets from their back and current issues here.

ReplyDeleteI am never at a loss for words. So why can't I find words to describe that photo? Probably because my jaw is still on the floor! There are not enough superlatives - it is absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the link to Elle Decor (India). I could have spent hours bumbling around looking at all the lovely images. I'm with you - I'd love a subscription. But at $70 USD / E45 for six issues, it's too rich for my blood. Shame.
